"Spring Light/Maisie on the Couch"
In no way am I comparing myself to the genius Vuillard. But I've always been fascinated by his ability to paint all sorts of things in a totally convincing way, but without articulating them completely. His scenes seem so real. yet half the time I don't even know what I'm looking at! I don't care, though. The colors and patterns carry me away. I would love to be able to do that, even a little bit.
