The Peacock in the Garden
Paxson Hill Farm, near New Hope Pennsylvania, is a feast for the senses. Pathways wind through all sorts of gardens, ponds, trees and flowers. And the cry of peacocks just adds to it all. One posed on a rock for me. I decided to take up the challenge and paint him. Capturing his shimmering feathers was pretty much impossible, but I did my best.
